*** CANCELLED in response to COVID-19 Pandemic***

Join us for a day of buddhist practice in the company of other womxn.

About this Event

Our spring gathering is a time to refresh and to drink from the well– including time in nature, meditation, reflection and in circle together.

Turning inward, in meditation, we connect with the awakened state that is within each of us and all life. Then, in our circle, we develop our capacity to discern and share the truth of our own experience; deepening our trust in life.

In April, we will explore further lessons from the dakinis of the Vajrayana; sky dancers, embodiments of clarity and passion, fierce and wild. Together we connect with the dakinis within and around us.

Come fill your cup– experienced practitioner or new to dharma. ALL womxn are welcome- across the vast gender spectrum. Come as you are!

(Note the change of spelling Women to Womxn to show inclusion of trans, non-bianary, and all other marginalized genders.)

About the Teacher

Kaye Jones is a homesteader in Trout Lake, an educator, and mother of three. She is a student of relationships, reality, and complexity ~ as understood through the lens of the dharma and natural systems. Kaye has her MSc in Holistic Science from Schumacher College, and is a student of Tibetan Buddhism. Her study of Vajrayana is in the lineage of Chogyam Trungpa and Dharma Ocean. Joanna Macy has been Kaye’s root teacher and collaborator since 2004.

Kaye has recently finished work on an anthology about the lifework of Joanna Macy, A Wild Love for the World, to be published by Shambhala in April 2020. She is at work completing her certification in Somatic Coaching to support her one-on-one practice with students and clients. Kaye’s passion is to accompany people into the transformational terrain of their own inner life, with a special interest in the spirituality of everyday life, and feminine relationship to the divine.

Womxn and Dharma will gather again on November 1st 2020 with visiting teacher Michele Loew.

We will also be gathering for a monthly practice group in Trout Lake (called The Thicket), on the last Sunday afternoon of March and May. Previous participation in a program with Kaye is suggested. Please email Kaye for info or registration kaye@broadforkfarmtl.com.

Womxn and Dharma is a Kaye Jones/Broadfork Farm program graciously hosted by our friends at the Trout Lake Abbey and Mt Adams Buddhist Temple.
