Teaching on impermanence and death awareness with Dharma talks, guided meditations and discussions about end of life choices. Along with Buddhist teachings you will learn about the practices of Death Doulas, how to accompany the dying, natural alternatives for after death care and home funerals, personal rights, rituals, natural green burials and living with grief. Teachings by Tamara Thiel, Gorge End-of-Life Doula and Home Funeral Guide along with Rev. August Jensen and Venerable Thay Kozen, Abbot of Mt Adams Buddhist Temple. Hosted by Trout Lake Abbey and Mt Adams Buddhist Temple.
This daylong workshop will include snacks, beverages, catered vegetarian lunch along with walking meditations around the beautiful grounds and labyrinth of the Abbey while it blossoms in the springtime and under the stunning view of Mt. Adams.
Fee:

There will be an opportunity to give any additional donations to the temple at the workshop.
